#Flu season comes around every year, but a new strain is leading many #GlobalHealth experts to worry that this round may be particularly severe. The strain—a version of the #influenza A(#H3N2) #virus—first appeared in surveillance reports in June, 4 months after the 2025-2026 #InfluenzaVaccine formulation had already been determined, and has been associated with earlier waves of influenza outbreaks in #Canada, #Japan, and the #UK.

If you're a resident of Alberta, now the provincial govt. wants us to pre-order our influenza and COVID-19 vaccines. I guess to get numbers on who wants it? In case you aren't from here, our leaders are in bed with the anti-vaxxers so they aren't promoting it much, and now want to charge us for it since public health is all woke and socialism or something. Since the order page isn't really obvious on the Alberta Health website, I put it here. The process is pretty easy once you find it.
