Bar Keeper’s Friend Cleanser and Polish
Darn it this stream may have to become a very clean sort of place. As in, if I get mad I sometimes go into a cleaning frenzy. Voilá my #TipOfDay as I am just roiling since waking early and catching up to some “news”.
So I present the new version of the traditional #BKF which is harder to find nearby at a store and costs a dollar more-well worth it. I’ve had this aluminum baking pan for about 6-7 years now and regret not getting after the cleaning better until now. Just look at the difference in this pan between the end scrubbed and still grimy end.
I use a fine spray bottle of water to mist the the cleaner powder instead of making a paste. This seems to work just fine. I do let it sit a bit before I am using cheap paper towels and more water to scrub it the baked-on grease come off. I’m late coming back with the mystery answer! It’s giant TACTICAL black rubber bands! I think about 65 in 4 sizes. I use them often to close up bags of food that need to be tightly closed for freshness and often things put in the freezer or refrigerator.
I’ve always just used miscellaneous rubber bands, often the ordinary beige ones. But as I added to my list of things to order I had the thought maybe there are heavy duty large rubber bands and there are! Check out the screenshot. If you look at the Amazon product page the comments cracked me up. Manly men happy to have “tactical” rubber bands. And use them in ways I am not acquainted with. My funny moment of the day so far: received a box packed full of things I ordered from Amazon and of course since it was very early I couldn’t think well. So first I pull out a plastic packaging bag of box padding. Or is it! Ha, took me a few minutes to realize it’s something I ordered for household use. Can you tell what it is? Testing time for #Ampache 7.5.0 has begun.
This one really blew up in terms of what I planned to do so now we need a week of testing to make sure it's ready to fire!

I'm visiting a client in South Africa and both yesterday and today they made us visit places non-stop from 8:15 to 16:00 without offering us anything other than water. No tea, no coffee, no lunch. Coming from Europe/UK this is blowing my mind... Also, I'm missing half of what's happening because my brain is not working.

My day go started off with a bang! Got a text from boss that we are losing a client. 😞 No one likes that. Trying to salvage what we can. Then get into office and before I can sit down have a support call. LOL. Not good feeling how the day will go. Tomorrow have an assembly. Then just schoolwork.

I'm writing a blog post for the first time since January 2019. I've been maintaining my WordPress installation and I am on version 6.1 and I have to say this:
The #WordPress editor is freaking fantastic. You know, the one that some people incorrectly call Gutenberg. It's genuinely a great experience.
