Dinking around planning my May 2027 trip to #Indy for my first #Indy500.
I am already scheduled for a 10A tour of the #Dallara factory where they are building the new IR28 version of #indycars (below). Also going to get in on their giant simulator lab where the public can actually drive a virtual Indycar on the IMS track.
Bonus is that the Dallara facility is just down the street .5 miles from the track, so I can go experience "Legends Day" with all sorts of off-track stuff going on.

I have been looking for an alternative news site to read to avoid the regular political garbage news and I found out today that what used to be called Chris Economaki’s National Speed Sport News is now speedsport.com. NSSN gave me my first national press pass in 1981. Covered sprints, midgets and Indy cars on the West Coast for them for years.
