Midweek devlog: core tech and iteration speed improved early this week, then momentum moved into design definition work as we translate an economy-first vision into concrete player actions and the first functional in-game UI. Meanwhile the desk stays chaotic: water, snacks, loose docs and the bulky teleprompter for daily calls. I have an office but for Highroads most work happens here.

🔘 bypass audio language auto-detection, which works great in general but sometimes misses spectacularly with short audio files.

I'm slowly coming to realize that PupperPost might have been a failed product idea. My imagined killer feature — a native client for a blogging platform — hasn't resonated at all. The implementation is clearly flawed. And the new version I'm working on — Soapbox — is at this moment so broken I don't know how to put it back together. Starting to think I should cut my losses and circle the wagons around Croissant... and find something else to supplement that product in the lineup. #indielife
