I'm slowly coming to realize that PupperPost might have been a failed product idea. My imagined killer feature — a native client for a blogging platform — hasn't resonated at all. The implementation is clearly flawed. And the new version I'm working on — Soapbox — is at this moment so broken I don't know how to put it back together. Starting to think I should cut my losses and circle the wagons around Croissant... and find something else to supplement that product in the lineup. #indielife

Likely my last release for 2023: in the next months I’m going to focus full-time (i.e. from 4:30 a.m. to 6:30 am, in the best-case scenario in which I manage to wake up… #indielife) on GlanceCam for iOS / iPadOS / watchOS.

I made my walking app MeandR free a month or so ago, with a one off IAP to access walk history etc. Obviously the downloads went up quite a bit, but people aren’t purchasing the IAP. Might need a rethink, as it was actually making more with one off up front payment. 🤔
