Wnew! My first game session with a strong dash of live action role play in #yazebasbedandbreakfast . I assisted as concierge and we did the laundry washing chapter three. The wash loads were the clock-four quarters ticked a third clock on the dryer and a full dryer filled half a hamper. Successful coin tosses of all heads (w/ increasing amounts of coins) gave a tick on those tracks for the wash.
We continue with another chapter next month.

Been loving playing Blades in the Dark as run by someone who *loves* running Blades in the Dark. Extremely different from all my previous experiences, in which the system never sang because we didn't commit to it — Blades is the sort of game where taking a cog out makes the whole machine collapse

Game Pile: Eat God
I fancied writing a Jim Henson style song opening, a poem about down in the swamp where the people come from goo, but it turns out those are super hard and there’s a lot to talk about in this excellent mid-sized Tabletop RPG.
Something of a warning, though; I don’t have a full, complete copy of Eat God. What I have is the Early Access version for the kickstarter. You can check out this version here. This is not a consideration of the game as a product for purchase nor as a game used in play, but rather about the ideas the system gives me and the reasons it gives me to play it.

I've just published a silly setting for #RisusRPG games. It's a variant of Dan Suptic's Super-Happy-Go-Go-Fun-Time-All-World-Speedy-Good-Delivery-Service-Special-Force-Delta-Five.
I've run several fun games using Dan's setting, but was increasingly uncomfortable with the Mr. Kuri-kana-suro-san character, so my variant replaces him with a Yorkshireman named Horace Wainwright.
