Averious is the first dragon I made for my game. I always think of Averious as the dragon's dragon. It's all about the hoard for this one.

After setting the scene what do you do? Introduce you characters. In Dragon's Hoard you get to choose one of four dragons to play.

I'm getting down to crunch time for my new board game. I made this comic to promote it and I'm going to be releasing it one page at a time from now until I start my Kickstarter. This is in fact the cover.

Quick concept sketch of an upcoming character. Kinda rough and unfinished, but I thought it suited her! I want y'all to know I tried SO HARD to find a way to introduce her in the fall. #sketch #webcomic #digitalart #faerietales #indicomics

Here is the latest "Animals of the Apple" page. I've decided to officially start posting these every other week, just because that seemed to be the place I can make them. I will try to post some of my random sketches or WIPs more often though.

Here is a little scene from the history of the Bronx Zoo. I decided to make this a bit of a crossover comic with my other comic project "Epic Duels" Remember you can read both of my comics by going to www.phillipgerba.com

One of the best things about talking to a lot of tourists is getting a new perspective on your world. I also haven't drawn a story fully from the first person perspective until now. I think it turned out pretty good. Remember you can always read all of my comics at www.animalsoftheapple.com too.

In case anyone has been wondering if I'll be making a comic book this year the answer is yes. I'm doing things a little differently this year for my next issue of "Animals of the Apple". I've decided to write all of my stories out before I start drawing my first comic. In theory this means that I'll be able to keep a weekly post for the entire book once it gets started.

This is page two of my Armadillite vs Secretarian duel. Spin gravity will be fun once we get it going. Arenas with the nosebleed seats in microgravity, will be as exciting as athletes learning how to game the Coriolis effect.

Here is the first page of my last duel in my "Fantastical Duels" series. I should be done with this duel by the end of July, and I'll have a printed version available by September at the latest.

What lies at the heart of the Damnation Machine? The Devil? Something else? Though none remember clearly, all Maelji recall a promise once made in darkness, a debt they've yet to repay.
