Hoy, día 28, día de Andalucía, he terminado el reto #InCoWriMo.
28 días, 28 cartas.
Tenía preparada una postal para mi cuñado para cerrar el ciclo pero ha habido cambio de planes. A el se lo mandaré mañana.
Reto conseguido. Meta cumplida.

El paseo del domingo ha incluido dos envíos más. Ya sólo queda una carta para terminar el reto #InCoWriMo.
La postal es de Faro (Portugal). Es una alegría darle vida a cosas que estaban cogiendo polvo. Ahora podrá disfrutar de un viaje y con mensaje incluido.
Quizá dentro de muchos años la gente también quiera cotillear correspondencia con ellas :blobcathighfive: -

InCoWriMo starts soon.
Though things feel a bit odd this year with jncowrimo.org having problems, so signed on for LetterMo and a new discord.
Got supplies though. Pen is a Pilot 823, faux stamps by zjmissive, and stickers from the Writerie (on etsy).

Ayer le contaba a alguien el reto #incowrimo y, sorprendentemente, a pesar de que Corresponderias no le encaja porque no quiere escribir a personas desconocidas o no tiene interés en leer sobre cosas que pueden no interesarle a pesar de que le gustaría recibir correspondencia, esto le ha llamado mucho la atención para hacerlo con gente cercana.
Y es que es una muy buena manera de tener una excusa para escribir a la gente que tenemos en mente.
¡Y quedan algo más de dos semanas para que empiece!

Como espacio que somos que promueve el envío de correspondencia tenemos sí o sí que darlo a conocer. Aquí se explica en qué consiste https://escritura.social/doclomieu/preparate-para-el-incowrimo y tenéis el enlace a la página del proyecto.
Quedan tres semanas para empezar y tener que escribir, en este año no bisiesto, 28 cartas, notas, postales o lo que queráis, pero al menos uno al día.¿Os atrevéis?
Desde aquí estaremos pendientes de la etiqueta por si alguna persona se anima y le daremos difusión, además de motivar, para conseguir ese logro.
Creo que es una manera perfecta para trabajar la constancia con un objetivo claro, la escritura y la creatividad.
Por supuesto, la tanda de corresponderias de febrero... ¡cuenta!

Final count for #InCoWriMo
39 letters sent, 28 received
Wrote a handful of new people in addition to my regular penpals.
During the month I used up an A5 pad of Tomoe River paper, an entire sheet of stamps, and finished off 2 additional partials of stamp sheets. (Also used up a bit of my A5 Tomoe River Sanzen paper.)

I've kept up on the #IncoWriMo this year. Thank goodness for postcards and the fact that each piece of correspondence doesn't have to be unique.
The coffee is good this morning.
I made my wife laugh with what I wrote on the last 3 postcards that were dropped into the box today.

I just got word my first #incowrimo letter arrived!!! Yayy!!!!

Did not use a fountain pen to write the addresses because I don’t have waterproof ink.

For #incowrimo, I'm left with no other option than to put my faith in international postal services.
Seeing as the Dutch national postal service fucked up sending my Christmas cards (not everyone received it!), I'm not that hopeful.
I pray that everyone will receive their letter! I'm sending 6 letters this week.

February is International Correspondence Writing Month #incowrimo Part of the writing I'll be do is sending letters to my US Congressional Representatives. I encourage anyone doing the writing challenge to find their Congressmen at https://www.congress.gov/members/find-your-member and enter your zip code.
Take care of two tasks in one!
Still need people to write to for your end of the month goal? Find the judges who are in your area & write to them about how you support separation of powers and the rule of law.

These are my 2nd/3rd letters of the month so far. The air mail envelope is for my pen pal while the envelope with the wax seal is for a coworker. If anyone is interested send me a mailing address (I am willing to send mail internationally) and I’ll write you a letter ASAP!

It's day 5 of the International Correspondence Writing Month, and I'm keeping up to date with it all.
It's a reprieve from the usual. In tackling the goal I find that I'm doing more journal writing to get my thoughts down on paper before throwing them into my correspondence and possibly messing things up.

International Correspondence Writing Month is a means to slow down and to listen to the rhythms of your own handwriting and the meditative thinking that goes along with it. It's an excellent time to reconnect with others through the hand written word. It's a time to have some fun. It's not about pressuring you about doing it right or wrong.

I just learned about #InCoWriMo and I think it’s exactly what I need. I’ve gotten out of the habit of letter writing and would like to make it a regular part of my life again.
