Leí hace poco un recopilatorio del #Incal de #Moebius y #Jodorowsky y me pareció que el #Dreadstar de Jim Starlin le coge unas cuantas inspiraciones: el grupo que rodea al protagonista, el Alto Señor Papal, tipos con cabeza de carnívoro doméstico...
Así que Dreadstar no bebe solo de Star Wars, tiene otras fuentes.

(The Agent 327 books are a fourth category; I still mostly enjoy those but they are duplicates now that I got the collected edition, so they've gotta go to make room. I'm also debating what to do about my original edition #Incal books in Dutch. These are now technically also duplicates but the collected edition I have is in black and white whereas the old ones have the original Yves Chaland colors).

1. According to Scott McCloud, I think, black and white art lands very differently from color art, because it directs the focus more to ideas contained in it. This theory seems to hold up. My response to it is less visceral, more analytical in this form compared to the version I had with Yves Chaland's original colors.
2 There were some times when my focus was technical, especially on the print quality. -
