This should be a wake-up call to anyone questioning the accuracy of Gary Lineker's tweet.
The language is right there, right in front of you. This caller changed one word in a recent Suella Braverman speech on immigration.
It's absolutely devastating and heartbreaking.

Richard Sharp’s position is untenable. Frankly it has been for weeks.
This lack of consistency isn’t a good look for the beeb.
Sharp must go and Gary must be reinstated. Don’t pander to newspapers that no one reads anymore.

#ImWithGary. Pushing him off air in response to political pressure from MPs trying to silence him is an act of State Censorship.
#GaryLineker was absolutely right to say what he did, it was a personal opinion, and it's absolutely vital for a healthy democracy that we are free to hold those in power accountable and criticize them openly and publicly.
If HMG are allowed to get away with cancelling Gary over this, then who/what comes next?
