CW: Potentially distressing situation with someone swept way in a flash flood
Apparently they called the Red Cross to help provide services to the many people stranded there, and the Red Cross said they'd call back in two hours. The poor lady who reported water reaching her face has not been rescued yet; the notation says that fire crews will be clearing the vehicles (in the fire service, probably a "primary search" where they will go find any vehicle they can reach and check for survivors or injuries; won't get any status on the CHP log. "RP still 97" probably indicates her phone is still pinging the local tower. Slim odds here; hope she gets lucky and the fire department finds her alive. (my guess only; she may be on the bank of the desert wash there and her phone still in the car or downstream, if she's lucky she got out and out of the water).

"According to the Treasurer's Office, the 13 new projects in 10 counties will develop approximately 124 new or newly renovated operatories, surgical suites, and/or operating rooms significantly expanding the capacity to serve special healthcare needs patients. Once completed, these projects are expected to increase access to oral healthcare for approximately 40,285 patients annually.
Initially announced by Treasurer Ma in July 2023, the Specialty Dental Clinic Grant Program is a $50 million initiative funded through allocations in the 2022-23 and 2023-24 state budgets. The program aims to support dental clinics specializing in care for children and adults, who have disabilities that prevent them from receiving routine or specialty care due to their physical, developmental, or cognitive condition."
