New phone day! That's ridiculously fast. Ordered last night at 7pm and it'll be here at 12!
However, it's not leaving the house until it has a screen protector and case. Hopefully they'll be here tomorrow/Friday.
I'm losing my unlimited data because sadly that'll cost more with a new contract but I don't think I'll break the limit of the new SIM of 150gb a month.
My current phone is four years old and the last security update was March '23! 😬

CW: CW talking about nosebleed on waking up
Ok, so... sometimes I wake up to a nosebleed in the middle of the night or sometime in the morning. (My morning can be early day for my timezone or 8 to 12 hours after I fell asleep -- or both! For once.)
Today's fun was: both nostrils, a blood clot (sized the area of my middle finger nail or slightly more), and I am STILL spitting blood hours later.
The spit ups are the area of my pinkie finger nail. I spit them up every 5 or 10 minutes.I'm pretty sure this was a posterior nose bleed, judging from where the itchy congestion feeling is, since the nose part stopped. (Posterior means toward back; anterior means towards nose.) It feels like it's way at the back of my throat, maybe near my uvula.
Period soon, so maybe I should take some iron pills. At least the Kyleena IUS coil (omfg?!) reduces heavy period flow a bit. Mirena IUS coil can stop periods, 'Amenorrhea', due to more progestogen in it. I love that, but I didn't realise a lower dose one was available, so the mood alterations should be better this time, too.

Time is your most precious resource. In my Hebrew course, Practically Speaking Hebrew, every minute is maximized.
From day one, you'll dive into practical conversations, avoiding endless grammar drills and boring memorization. You'll practice sentences relevant to you, making learning efficient and fun.
My unique approach ensures your time is invested wisely, turning each lesson into a step closer to fluency. With my support and feedback, you'll quickly gain confidence in speaking Hebrew naturally.
Comment if you're interested, and I'll send you the details.

Any alternatives for markdown previews in emacs?
Using impatient mode but you have to start a local server and then send that buffer to the server.https://github.com/skeeto/impatient-mode
Fewer steps preferred.

Dear Friends of #Mumble,
Well I tried.
To get the #VOIP Mumble program working. Could I? No! I tried setting it up. Some sort of bars, #setting etc. Even may have created an actual secure/name as in #IRC. As usual I find these things all too time consuming. So will probably stick to Zoom and Whats-app. They support my level of #impatient #incompetence. 🥴
In other #excitement:
- our neighbors #ginger cat pounced and made off with a #mouse. Did not know we had #mice in the #garden. None in the house to my knowledge. Now there is one less garden rodent [no crying at the back please]. I made popcorn, which is more to my tastes.
- My cousin who may be a #conspiracy nut, sent me a video on alien amongst us disclosure, by #SALT. A very popular Bitcoin and other get rich quack conference. So unconvincing when coming to hard evidence as opposed to incessant sales presentation. Makes Ted-talks look completely 100% legit. Been a few funny/bogus people on all online conferences too of course. Nothing but scam artists are 100% certain but contain 0% hard evidence. 20 minutes of blah-blah from those looking to invest in a alien waffle start up... apparently tens of 1000's of gullible fleece interest on the cyber-verse... 👽
Hope your day has been more... Well, whatever you wish for 🕊️ -
Gah! Waiting for a code review is like waiting on Christmas morning to open presents.
I mean it’s been a whole 5 minutes!

impatient and rushed the ending of this one, as i do with all essays. i get tired of writing about the topic and want to move on to something else asap.
the main idea of this essay started as "short IGN/GamesRadar one up"; like "here's how you write a real games article, IGN -- you suck" and part 2 is kinda like that, i guess.
the concept is "idea is better than the real thing" which i think could have been made a bit more clear but again #Impatient
anyways this is what i was listening to:
