First, the Preferences windows for both iMovie and DVD Player in #MacOSX Tiger were just so well-made. Simple and the language flows naturally with the UI controls for options.

Second, those toolbar icons were just so ELITE. _You_ try crafting such beautiful art in (32x32 pixels iirc) such a small space. If you zoom in, they're perfectly pixel-aligned. 😍

I'm considering buying an Apple Neo, to dual boot Linux Mint #Debian Edition on it.

Are there any specific concerns with using #Apple Silicon? Am I restricted in the #Linux distros and available packages?

I miss the diversity of layouts in old Mac app design... like leaning more on bottom bars and bottom toolbars like iWeb, iCal, & (OG) iTunes. Or a more Shoebox/Bento style of layout like old iMovie. These all had wonderful structure than would lean on their unique purpose rather than using a standard template meant for all. It was nice.

Uruchomiona w 2017 roku aplikacja, mająca być odpowiedzią firmy na rosnącą popularność krótkich form wideo, została usunięta z App Store dla nowych użytkowników i nie będzie już dalej rozwijana. I'm working on a demo/tutorial video and I was trying #apple #iMovie. It was really easy until it wasn't. Trying to add a freeze frame when I have several already in place and it just moves my audio clips around for reasons beyond me.

Now I'm trying #kdenlive. While the interface has a lot more going on it seems to be doing only what I tell it to do. Also looks like it has power I won't even scratch the surface of. Well done, #FOSS friends!
