    Second great thread from @jeffgilchrist explaining ways Covid gets around our immune system’s. Here he describes how it shifts monocytes from their protective function to one that leads to more clotting. And, the virus basically grows your nasal cilia like jack and the bean stock (his analogy) to bypass protective mucus.
