The people don't do the legislation, legislation leans towards policies favored by the rich.

The democrats laid the foundation for fascism, they approved the ICE funding, obama ramped up the war on drugs and anti immigration efforts, so much so that he was nicknamed the "deporter in chief".

It is a double act, one side sets them up the other knocks them down and all the while more rights are taken away from the proletariat and more wealth is funneled to the capitalist class.

The centre left party winning every election from now until the end of time is not a workable anti fascist praxis. We need to create conditions such that it is impossible for fascists to take over, we need to abolish the state.

Any argument that attempts to morally justify someone joining the US military and enforcing imperial interests abroad by killing civilians (including children) in afghanistan or elsewhere, such as "they needed to do it for the good pay and benefits" could also apply to ICE agents who havent wrought nearly as much destruction in the US yet

We shouldn't be putting up US ex military on a pedastal as if they are the moral exemplar of how to ethically obey orders from an imperialist government, they are not so different from ICE

And yet a couple of deaths at home has spurred more action than your government aiding and abetting thousands in gaza and afghanistan and all the other victims of the imperial core.

Please do not compare racist murderers to pigs

Pig shouldn't be an insult, it just shows how little humans respect pigs that their species is equated with fascism and racism

I believe this is because humans hurt innocent pigs so much that they have come to hate all pigs because in pigs they see their own violence reflected back at them.

Its easier to hate pigs than to empathize

I've seen people mention how white people care now a white person has been killed by fascists and I agree but also humans kill an amount of non human land mammals equal to the human population every couple months: an unfathomable amount of suffering and we don't see a fraction of the disgust and resistance.

Humans today by and large are pretty selfish but that doesn't mean we have to continue to be this way.

While countering DHS propoganda that attempts to justify ICE shooting someone in the face, 404media cites[1] 3 videos posted on bluesky of which 2 have been fully removed by bluesky - these are the two that depict the incident and that 404 media say disproves DHSs statement, the only one left uncensored contains a second hand witness account which goes against DHSs statement

This is why I hate bluesky. Videos containing blood and gore can be essential for the preservation of fundamental rights and the public has a right to see these videos if they choose to. Certainly - enforce content warnings. But outright censorship is just there to preemptively appease potential advertisers.
