Growing up, my mother could answer any homework question I had. She knew everything.
I didn't learn the truth until I was a senior in high school. What she told me that day changed how I understood everything she'd done for me.

It was a sacrifice I never saw, happening in moments I'll never remember.
Sometimes the greatest acts of love are the ones that happen in silence.
