I don't understand german post.

When I'm shipping an A3 print in an envelope, it's up to 18,- euro.

When I'm shipping an original painting (nearly a meter long) then it's 7,-

I need help. I always understood that ALT on a photo in a toot should describe the attached photo. Recently it seems that around 50% of those who use ALT are just rewriting what the toot above said. That doesn’t seem to be any help for an unsighted person to know what the picture looks like.
Am I wrong? I will continue to describe what the picture looks like intil I am told not to.
