Today I learned that :

Male dogs and cats ( and adjacent species such as Wolves) have multiple nipples which ... leads me to reimagine a lot of (Western) Werewolf Lore / Art .

So I finally broke down and downloaded a password manager on my phone.

Spent over an hour loading it with all the accounts I've been keeping written down at my desk at home, so I'd have a digital version to take with me everywhere.

Then I went to work, and promptly forgot the master password.

But it's all good, because I had it written down ... at my desk ... at home.

Nay... when the rootless ssh session terminates... so does the stack...
Apparenty its buried somewhere in the docs, but, who has time to read docs? /shrug

So a follow up for routine bloodwork (I am so grateful for insurance) and there was a new APRN to the practice.

Nice woman, personable, and she had studied my file pretty well. Asked about any issues---I have had some soreness in my palm just above the wrist, so narrowing out reasons why it could be carpel tunnel.

Her: Do you type a lot?

Me: Not really and I use only a few fingers. I mean I'm a "hunt and pecker."

Her: <utterly stone-faced>

Just great Steve...way to make a good first impression. 🙄

I took a really awesome photo of moonset over Long's Peak this morning.

But there was no memory card in the camera, so I guess I'll try tomorrow.

Anyway... Im glad to have this camera back. It is such a solid brick, the depth of field indicator is better than any other camera Ive used, and it can and should be shot in all conditions!

I've tried to offer tips to others on how to get the most out of Mastodon. I intend my advice to be helpful but everyone's free to reject it in part or entirely. Having said this, I am in need of guidance myself. One thing I should be taking seriously is reading blogs and watching helpful videos. But while I always Boost links to them, I often don't find the time to read or watch them. I have a good excuse: #ImAnIdiot
