So the library committee meeting today at #ImagineIF was interesting, a reactionary board member was very upset that people noticed her attempt to have a core library policy defanged in a procedural meeting without the due notice or process to actually repeal a core policy and went off before the public comments section. It seems that the Flathead GOP had a weak showing today, the crowd was pretty unanimous in bringing up Nazi book burnings. More thoughts in my newsletter post later today.

Hey everybody in my #MT peeps, Flathead GOP are trying to flood the #ImagineIF library committee meeting on Wednesday the 5th with anti-LGBTQ voices and push overturning or weakening the Fair Treatment Policy in the book catalogue. In other words, the stage in being set for censorship in a continuation of an attempt by #bookburner reactionaries on the Library board to remove books like #GenderQueer. Remember which books the Nazis burned first. See you at 11 AM sharp, bring your angry words.
