It took an embarrassing amount of time, but I was finally able to get Linux installed and running on my old G4 iMac so I can use it as a terminal to access my home servers!

I dug out an #iMacG4 that has been untouched in the loft for 15 years. Turned it on and it said a little triple tone and flashed it's little light. After a reset it came properly to life and updated OS. Found Safari doesn't like Https sites, so loaded #Aquafox and she works fine, if slowly.
Reckon she'll be a good thing to test the #indieweb site I'll be building, though I will plug her into the fibre broadband, not a #dialup modem (can you still get on line with one?)
