Reform UK would create an ICE-style agency dedicated to deporting hundreds of thousands of people, as well as terminating the status of those with indefinite leave to remain (ILR).

The government has opened its consultation on Indefinite Leave to Remain, which they are pleased to call Earned Settlement. It's important that as many voices and organisations as possible who oppose these draconian changes take part in this consultation.

I had looked into the H-1B visa program back in the 1990s when my parents were pushing me to emigrate to the US. Even back then it was being massively gamed by the tech firms and consultancies.

I ultimately chose to take my chances with the British work permit scheme as a path to Indefinite Leave to Remain and eventual British citizenship.

Although I dodged the dot-com crash, I faced being indentured labour to a narcissist bosshole for 8 years.

I have a smaller one now. It’s still there, in my chest, but it’s dead. It also failed to diagnose me, but a stress test off meds did!

OK, it seems you now can switch to the new #TLScontact option for booking from 17th October onwards and they do have loads of free slots available. Just gotta re-upload all the required documentation to this new site. To get to the TLSContact booking find your original email to log back into the gov.uk visa application and select "Book appointment".
