    Now, what are the chances of putting on one of my all-time favorite black metal releases on the exact 30th anniversary date? Apparently I did. According to Discogs, anyway.

    "Det Frysende Nordariket" is the Ildjarn release I feel most nostalgic about, being the first one I obtained.

    It contains the all-time catchiest Ildjarn release, namely the Nidhogg-collaboration "Norse" 7", with (in my mind) the hit "Natt og Tåke".

    Also, the "Ildjarn" demo, with Ihsanh on vocals. I wonder what he was thinking when he did this, being so far removed from Emperor.

    Then there's the "Minnesjord" demo, which is simply Ildjarn alone.
