UAE backed Sudan's Rapid Support Forces (RSF) shot down a Sudanese Air Force Il-76 aircraft near Babanusa in West Kordofan on November 4, 2025, killing all aboard, including a reported Russian crew.
Source says the RSF utilized Chinese-made FK-2000 air defense system supplied by the UAE.
The Sudanese Army cited a technical malfunction.

Another Russian IL-76 arrived in Tehran yesterday.
This is the 6th plane since the Israeli 12 days attack against Iran, plus at least one from Belarus.
Iran is buying large amount of weapons from Russia but nothing has been shared publicly.
The reports about the purchase of Chinese air defense systems shared by Israel were propaganda.
