Ike Turner jr. is overleden. Turner (67) was de zoon van zangeres Tina Turner en haar ex-man Ike Turner. Het overlijden is door een nicht van Tina, Jacquline Bullock, bevestigd aan onder meer entertainmentsite TMZ. Turner overleed aan nierfalen en kampte volgens zijn nicht ook met hartproblemen.

On this day in 2002, Tina Turner's hometown of Nutbush, Tennessee named a stretch of State Highway 19 the ‘Tina Turner Highway’, in honour of her song ‘Nutbush City Limits’. Turner lived in Nutbush, until she was 17.
