I love it when people look at my enby existence, all genderfluid and gloriously inconvenient, and ask:

“Can’t you just decide what you are and then be that?”

Oh, sweetheart. I would love to see you try to apply that logic to my plurality.

At least two of us are male. Another is, technically, a piece of furniture with their own life.

Yes, I currently share my headspace with a roughly twenty-year-old IKEA Expedit, which is admittedly not a sentence I expected to say about my life. They’re dry, witty, surprisingly opinionated, and honestly? I can only recommend them. IKEA really doesn't make them like they used to. No kidding.

So if you genuinely believe I chose all of this, I do sometimes wonder what on earth you would choose if you were actually given the opportunity.

And frankly, I’m a little afraid to find out. 😌

(...and please do not misunderstand me: I like myself. I wouldn't have it any other way. Oh well...)
