I’m not the biggest Konami supporter anymore but in the recent years I was super glad to find out that Konami put together some medleys of their classic games as a throw back to older games, from their very first series to their popular to bemani and two still stick with me

Decided to go to the arcade tonight to just get out of my house. Came back with a few things to make the rhythm gamer in me happy! Super glad I was able to win these! Might go back and try to get the katsu plush and the other IIDX acrylic stands! I brought my #ffxv Walkman into work today and have been having a blast just listening to random songs from different games. So far we’ve had #personaq, #persona, #DDR 1st-5th mix nonstop, #IIDX 23-30, #ff7, #FF7R , #xenoblade3 and #xenoblade2, to end it off currently #ffxiv it’s been so nice listening to a ton of music I haven’t heard in a hot minute and even my coworkers are vibing to it

It’s like going through the #theatrhythmallstarcarnival closure all over again playing that and seeing other teams of people come in just felt like there was a sense of community even if we weren’t actively playing together. Nothing beats going on at the times new songs drop because there was so many people from everywhere in the world. I really really love these things that some of the current rhythm games don’t seem to have like #IIDX #chunithm and #DDR

Soooo #Konami banned the entire #US West Coast from #eAmusement by accident

For context, all these games have a revshare license and won't run offline at all because Konami says arcade owners will own nothing and be happy. #IIDX #SDVX #DDR

Meanwhile I'm actually having fun playing #IIDX now (shocker), my earth power is level 5 with level 6 songs being occasionally clearable. I haven't tried 7s yet. My only complaint with IIDX now is that we only have one cab and there's always a line for it when I go to the arcade.

I'm still struggling with level 12s in #SDVX. 13s are impossible. Send help.

Featuring tournaments in #DDR, #PIU, #IIDX, and #SDVX, the Southeast PA Timing Attack (or S.E.P.T.A) is a one-day rhythm game event on Saturday, February 3rd, 2024.

I kid, I kid. But now that I've gotten your attention: does anyone know how the hell to unlock avatars on that game that don't look like Chris Hansen is going to walk out from behind the arcade cabinet and ask me to have a seat over there?

I play at Round1 USA but if crew unlocks are Japan-only I can just put "get SDVX unlocks" on my Japan Trip Bucket List.
