Tonight I succeeded in bringing a 33-year-old vaporware BBS game back to life!
After Steve Turnbull sent me the C source code to his unfinished IGS blackjack game "Wildcardz!", I ported it to Javascript. Now I can run it on my Synchronet BBS!
It's a really impressive IGS game. I doubt any ANSI BBS card game could compare visually.

🧬 RKI-Forschende haben gezeigt, dass mit Hilfe der Integrierten Genomischen Surveillance #IGS zwischen Übertragungen im Ausland und Ausbrüchen in 🇩🇪 unterschieden werden kann. Dadurch kann die Verbreitung gezielter gestoppt werden. Die IGS kombiniert Melde- und Erregergenomdaten.

I'm most proud of an original "Calvin and Hobbes" animation I released last year that shows what might have happened if Calvin had owned _two_ cardboard boxes.

Because scientific progress goes "boink", this one is a tribute to Bill Watterson's beloved #CalvinAndHobbes comic strip.
