Having a bosom pocket for a music player is wonderful. I can route the hearbuds cable into the shirt then out through the top so it doesn't get tangled and yanked on everything. And, if you see me playing with my nipple it's because... I am. I can also reach the controls easily enough by reaching inside the pocket.

I'm really thinking of buying these together with a portable DAC AMP. I have read lots of great reviews for a IEM that costs less than 320 euros.

At the same time, I'm getting tired of bluetooth earphones/headphones and their endless list of tradeoffs. Noise cancelling vs frequency response vs audio reprodution accuracy. It's all very tiring and anxiety-inducing, because you're always afraid of spending lots of money on something that you will eventually regret buying.

At least with a decent pair of IEMs like these, you can get the best of these three factors. Whenever you need a microphone, you can always use something like the AirPods Pro 2/3.

Whenever I put on my Tanchjim Origin IEM's, I feel like exploring my complete music catalog again. Such sonic bliss every time I put them on. For less than half the price of DT1990, it wipes the floor with it by being tuned so well. Wish I found IEM's and understood my tuning preferences before wasting money on headphones. Both, the Truthear Hexa and this, have been ear opening experiences.

I've recently bought these IEMs from Temu, because it was just like $3 and it was from a brand I didn't know and curiosity took me over: KCKZ S72:

These are the worst IEMs I've ever used. A shit ton of bass, muddy mids and scratchy trebles. Bass is overwhelming, and I'm not ever exaggerating.

There are some decent ChiFi IEMs at this price range: KZ EDX Lite, KZ EDC, QKZ AK6 etc

I've literally took it out and broke it after 15 secs of usage.

I can suggest QKZ AK6 as a cheap entry to IEMs if you like V shaped sound profile (which I don't).

Got some nice new tips for my #iems , makes a huge difference. Really nice. :D

My JBL in ears are starting to break after a lot of usage(and constantly being in my pocket) and I needed a replacement. Since I already have IEMs I looked into how to get them wireless. The default way seems to be to get a Bluetooth amp you carry around and connect your IEMs with a cable to. Seemed a bit to clunky of a setup and expensive. I went with cheaper Bluetooth "ear hooks". Sound quality is better than expected. Obviously not as good as with cable and a proper amp, but definetly comparable to the JBL in ears I had before.

My Shure SE215 wireless have been great for many years but it was time for an upgrade. I'll still use the SE215s for wired configurations on-the-go, but I wanted something that could support higher bitrate wireless. And the Sony WF-1000XM5 are crushing it, especially after applying AutoEQ (they're just a little bass-heavy out of the box, but impressively close to flat frequency response!)

Ich wollte die Fairphone Fairbuds wirklich gut finden. Aber die Software ist enorm buggy und der Klang schlicht nicht gut genug. Quasi jeder Mainstream -TWS klingt besser, von Kabelkopfhörern ganz geschwiegen.

Truthear Hexa z.B. haben keine Batterie, kosten halb so viel und klingen um Welten besser. Ab ca. 20 CHF gibt's bessere Kabel-IEMs.

Zudem: Buggy Software, Verbindung zur App funktioniert 80% der Versuche nicht, deutliche Latenz bek Videos.
