Which drama had you running for your blankies?
There are several good suspense shows that were released in 2025, including #NinePuzzles and #DearX. Several folks recently mentioned a drama from 2020 starring my beloved #JangHyuk and the FL from last year's #IdolI #TellMeWhatYouSaw. It's immediately captured my attention, with 4 episodes consumed today. I'm not a fan of serial killers, but if they must be shown, I can't tolerate them in a romcom, which this doesn't pretend to be. Very interesting role for Jang Hyuk. I think the mystery will keep me intrigued, but one guy they've cast has never played anything but a villain in the many dramas I've seen him in, so I certainly have my suspicions!

#idoli saison finie et envie de dire, après avoir maté 4 #kdramas en peu de temps, ce que j'aime avec ce genre c'est que si l'écriture des caractérisations des personnages sont toujours ultra stéréotypées, voire caricaturales, les acteurs semblent toujours jouer leur rôle avec énormément de sincérité et ça donne un résultat toujours touchant d'humanité.

Et comme j'aime bien chercher des thèmes à ce que je regarde, ce soir, je me suis maté le premier épisode du #kdrama #IdolI et là aussi, ça montre à quel point les idoles n'ont pas vraiment de vie privée ou en tout cas elle ne leur appartient pas à eux mais plutôt à leurs fans.
Le sujet est donc plutôt lourd mais là, c'est raconté avec pas mal d'humour jusqu'au cliffhanger qui risque de changer pas mal le ton de la suite mais je vous en dirai plus quand j'en aurai vu plus 😜 -

I couldn’t sleep last night so I finished Idol I. This was a great #KDrama and exactly what I needed 9–9.5/10.
Things I liked: The main couple were super cute (especially at the end). They showed both the toxic nature of fandoms and saesangs, but also showed how a healthy fandom can be. They didn’t shy away from the impacts the industry can have on artists. They didn’t draw it out - with only 12 episodes the pacing stayed engaging throughout.
