This #sunday, I signed up to test the @ivory #macOS #Mastodon Desktop client (Ivory for Mac) through #Apple's #TestFlight.
I'm enjoying the experience. It’s like the experience I have on #iOS and #iPadOS, but has support for windowing, keyboard sequences, and more.
It is quite polished! Kudos to @tapbots! I look forward to its release!

FWIW, I love the tag names chosen. #IdesOfMusk, #AprilFlight have a nice touch, and I'm sure they help with the awareness of the opportunity to look beyond Twitter or the other social silos, but even if they convince people get an account on the #Fediverse, that's really not the hard part —despite a common (mis)perception.

As we did for #JoinMastodonDay, I'll be tracking this grassroots effort on #Twitter that is using the hashtags: #LeaveTwitterDay or #IdesofMusk -- Technically this all occurring tomorrow March 15th.
Wish this luck and will post key tweets in the comments in this thread for those of us still on Twitter to retweet, quote tweet, and help amp up.

Apparently today is #JoinMastodonDay. I also learned that March 15th is #LeaveTwitterDay, or the #IdesofMusk
If you're new, sometimes having a dead home feed can suck. What you can do while finding accounts to follow is follow some bots. Their consistent posting is nice early on. Here are some of my favorites:

Deshalb mal wieder eine Umfrage: Welche Accounts oder vielleicht auch Accountgruppen (à la #twitterlehrerzimmer) von "drüben" vermisst ihr denn hier (noch)?
