Besonders aktuell war dann noch die Ausstellung zur Aktion #iceoutcomics - Comicstrips vieler Künstler*innen gegen die ICE-Einsätze in den USA. Abends gab es dazu von #LarsVonTörne auch einen Vortrag, der auf Hintergünde einging und die Funktionen politischer Comics an diesem Beispiel erläuterte. Bewegend und informativ gleichermaßen.

#IceOutComics is an online grassroots campaign initiated by a group of Minnesota-based comic artists: K. Woodman-Maynard, Trung Le Nguyen, and Jason Walz, along with March co-author Nate Powell, to “call out to cartoonists and artists to make four-panel comics about the personal impact I.C.E. is having on their lives.”We are assembling a list of comics drawn by Cartoonist Cooperative members for the #IceOutComics campaign, along with resources for organizing within your communities."
