  1. The #ICanHazPDF hash-tag is active on the Fediverse.

I remember that hash-tag (ICanHazPDF) starting in (I think) the year 2011.

    ...

A lot of scholarly papers are paywalled. ICanHazPDF is a way for those who don't have "academic access" to ask for a copy of the paper.

    ...

ICanHazPDF was a play on the "I Can Has Cheezburger" (ICHC) meme.

Wikipedia Library's ScienceDirect subscription doesn't seem to include
Endocrine Practice and I haven't been able to find this article any other way so I would really appreciate if anyone who has access to #ScienceDirect or #Elsevier journals or whatever would include this could see if they can get me a copy of this, because it's actually huge to have a Real Study™ confirming this and I need to see it:

    A. L. Misakian, D. Ariel, E. A. Sullivan, et al.,

  12. EDIT: Resolved, thanks to the help of friends!

Asking out of desperation, since none of the libraries near me have access to it: can anyone with the requisite library access send me a copy of doi.org/10.1016/j.jmaa.2025.12 ?

(Hope I'm using the right hashtag or whatever...) #icanhazpdf

  13. Not sure this is still being practiced here, but just in case: Would anyone be able to send me this paper? I don't have access, unfortunately:

  17. @SeaFury Remember about #icanhazpdf if you don't have access to a database.

  18. Does anyone have a PDF of ISO 9613-2:2024? I have the 1996 version but not the new one...

  19. I am looking for a IPC-A-610 Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies standard. The later revision the better but I will not be picky.

Edit: I got the standard thanks to @antoniovr

  23. Offenbar ist das die neue Tauschbörse von Alexandra Elbakyan, der Gründerin von #SciHub: sci-net.xyz/ (mir fehlt es an einem invite code um auszuprobieren)

„When someone struggles to access paywalled research article, they can post a request on Sci-Net. The other member who have access through university subscription will solve the request by uploading a PDF file.“

#Schattenbibliothek

  30. I have a really weird #ICanHazPDF request. I remember a #MathOverflow question about the classification of #manifolds in which a paper (apparently unpublished) was linked from the author's website. I think it was by either Manolescu or Nicolaescu and it was a very nice, short survey of the current state of the classification. I thought I had a copy of this, but I can't find it or the original MathOverflow question. I've tried DuckDuckGo, Yandex, Google, and Bing to no avail. It's not this (pi.math.cornell.edu/~hatcher/P) by Allen Hatcher. Did I hallucinate this survey article?
