  1. Last night Seestar S50 session result of IC5146 (cocoon nebula)

First image is stacked and processed with @Siril_Official

Second image is Seestars live stacking result with trails of planes to #BER destroing the image.

  7. #SkyWatch #Astrophotography The #Cocoon Nebula aka #IC5146 is a star nursery about 4000 light years away in the #Cygnus constellation. The central star that lights it is only 100,000 years old. The nebula is surrounded by a dark lane of dust called Barnard 168 which gives it the appearance of having a dark tail. There are thousands of young stars in this complex. #StillLearning

  8. #SkyWatch #Astrophotography The #CocoonNebula aka #IC5146 is an emission nebula about 4000 light years away and about 15 light years across. It is a star formation area with hundreds of young stellar objects having been identified. It is surrounded by Barnard 168, a dark nebula that can be seen trailing off to the right in this image of 15 five-minute exposures. #StillLearning

  9. Quick processing of IC 5146, the cocoon nebula, LRGB. About 10 hours of integration with my 14" RC at E-EYE.
