Ça semble prometteur!

Bon, évidemment ça marche pas sous Wayland et Sway... mais c'est pas pour moi donc c'est pas forcément grave. Il faut que je teste sur une autre machine.

Why does changing the #ibus input method via hotkey not work anymore??? Do I really have to switch to #fcitx? imho ibus is much more comfortable. If it works.

Today, I came across crash logs indicating that "ibus-x11" can crash when Bitwig Studio is run on a #wayland session, resulting in Bitwig Studio losing keyboard input capability.

After upgrading my Guix System to 24a46e9 IceCat has lost the ability to work with ibus. I can't enter UNICODEs (Ctrl+Shift+U) nor type Japanese, even though these work okay in other applications...

I think this is not the first time this happens but I can't remember how to fix it.

This worked for me to get IBus to behave

Another solution is to run im-config → OK → Yes → do not activate any IM from im-config and use desktop default → OK and then reboot.

I don't know if it because of Wayland or not. but the problem mostly on Chromium app, and doesn't even work on Android Studio.

Damn it, cannot recommend #linuxbrew ...

Already have beef with it because last time it causes Flatpak to have no network because Flatpak accidentally referenced Linuxbrew packages... it seems to be happening again with Linuxbrew installation of Python caused anthy (Japanese input method) to not working...

どこら辺が何やろな、というかと言うと、kinput2-cannaなどをインストールして環境変数をぶち込んで #kinput2 やらを起動したはずなのに、im-configが #iBus のままの設定だと全然使えないところで。kinput2や #Canna の起動をミスっていて、使い物にならない状態にあった可能性もあるけど
