  1. Really good documentary! I still think chronically playing video games is bad, but for some people can be a way to cope with problems and/or make friends, have a life...

  3. Folks, I have a @Netflix recommendation; The remarkable life of #Ibelin. I never played WoW but I did play LOTRO for many years (very similar game just set in Middle Earth) so this hit me really hard. Let's just say I may have had something in my eye by the end of it 🙏

  13. A very unique movie about online #gaming just premiered at Sundance. Based on a story that got known here in Norway in 2019 when Norwegian broadcaster first wrote about it, becoming their most read story of the year.

I for sure am looking forward to seeing the movie #Ibelin, about Mats Steen, who died at age 25 of Duchenne muscular dystrophy.

His parents just saw him alone, in front of the computer, year after year, saddened to see him die, all alone, without friends.

But, as condolences started to come in from people all over Europe, they realized he had lived a life they did not understand.

Ibelin is is WoW avatar, and this movie follow his online life.

I suspect there might be tears in this movie.

AFAIK, Netflix will show the move once it is done in the cinemas.
