At 536 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1
and 4 inches of rain have fallen since Monday evening. Additional
rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash
flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Casey, Diamondhead Lake, Menlo, Linden, Brayton, Marne, Wiota,

3. The Northeast U.S. heat dome will aim tropical moisture from the Gulf of Mexico into the Central Plains and Upper Great Lakes region for heavy rain including cities like #Minneapolis. Isolated rainfall totals in excess of 100 mm are possible in a large region from Kansas to Western Ontario.

Widespread rainfall will suppress load in northern portions of #MISO and #SPP.
