Had a warning in my app’s logs about some old unused in-app purchase products that the RevenueCat SDK was unhappy about. The products haven’t been used for years. So I asked RC’s support about the warnings. I don’t think I’ve ever had as informative and great responses ever to a support request, and I’m not (yet) even a paying customer. Friendly, professional and informative. Made my day. :)

Does anyone know how long it takes an auto-renewing subscription to actually make its way to the app? Does notification get sent to the app before the exact expiry date of the last period, or some time after expiry?

Put another way, should my app test against the expiry date strictly, or give some leeway? Is it enough to say "to the end of the day it expires?" To the end of the week?

Note that I'm not talking about the formal Billing Grace Period that Apple accommodates. I just mean a small window in which my app has not yet been informed of a subscription renewal.

The absurdity behind today's in-game purchases is that if you would buy all the possible things they offer for a single game, you can easily get above $10k or even more. This is absurd considering that's only for 1 game.

Sometimes there's not even an upper limit, usually for #Pay2Win crap when they basically sell you cheat codes. Pay to make the game easier / less painful to play. It's a #scam.
