this night I had a dream. chick corea and iannis xenakis had a gig together. in an art galery. they were very old and full of admiration for each other. the concert ended with both of them playing a stockhausen piece, which followed the rules of a game - just like those john zorn pieces. it ended up with both of them putting coins on top of chick's piano: Almost compulsively, driven, as there were more and more events in music that forced this. #chickcorea #iannisxenakis

Precision + joy = an arc of the infinite
Absolutely stellar concert tonight of music by Iannis Xenakis, performed by percussionist Kuniko Kato, with percussion ensemble IX Percussion α and Nobuo Nakasho (Noh Mai). I’d never experienced Xenakis’s Pléïades in performance until this evening, and it brought new depth to a physically demanding, complex and mesmerising work. Huge thanks to the Reid School of Music, organisers and all the performers.

Raaaaaaahhhhhh ! faites des enfants, et écoutez Le Fly Pan Am le jour de leur naissance pour leur donner bon goût, mais non, même pas, ça a foiré. Bon, en même temps, sa mère est archi fan des Smiths, je me doutais que forcément, pour l'éducation musicale de notre fille, ça ne pouvais que foirer !

Plus 1 que le facteur n'a pas pu mettre faute de place, il repassera demain. Oui, oui, je sais, il faudrait que je me soigne, et promis, je vais finir de ranger mes cartons (la personne qui m'a fait la remarque se reconnaitra. ou pas)

Comme je n'ai pas récupéré et acheté assez de vinyles chez mon disquaire (bon, et j'ai acheté un très beau coffert de 5 CD de #IannisXenakis, depuis le temps que mes amis de Le Fly Pan Am m'en parle et que je n'avais toujours pas écouté, je me rattrape), et bien, j'avais 3 colis dans ma boite aux lettres ce soir. Plus 1 que le facteur n'a pas pu mettre faute de place, il repassera demain. Oui, oui, je sais, il faudrait que je me soigne, et promis, je vais finir de ranger mes cartons (la personne qui m'a fait la remarque se reconnaitra. ou pas)
