  1. @iamada mmmm I think so. I can _guess_ about why: I think a mixture of lowered default mode network activity, and higher levels of norepinephrine allowing me to be more aware of my body and MUCH improved task initiation and exec function. I can observe my environment better AND initiate and complete tasks to support my intents.

But it is not as distinct as you describe. I'd talk to the doc about it. #IAmNotADoctor

  3. @matt YMMV, but with the knowledge that, yes, they do make me gag, I’ll currently swear by sinus rinsing the second you get any inkling of upper respiratory discomfort. I know anecdotes aren’t data but since I adopted this zero tolerance stance on mucus accumulation, I’ve seen off multiple colds in 36 hours or less. Rinse, menthol and pseudoephedrine immediately and until it stops (or up to 3 days for the pseudo as it’s not good for sinuses long term). #IAmNotADoctor

  4. @MardraS if you Google #chewlry you can see solutions for conscious chewing. Amazon sells at home anti teeth clenching appliances. #IAmNotADoctor

  5. I've never taken ADHD meds (and unlikely to ever get a prescription ::sigh:: ) but I just learned (from a random YouTube Scooby Doo video) that ADHD meds have very VERY bad interaction with antacid/indigestion medication.

Basically by changing your stomach acidity - the antacids/indigestion meds can drastically increase the release rate/potency of the ADHD meds.

So yeah. Be careful with what meds you ingest that have horrible counteractions !
