A book I overlooked for too long: #Arcadia by #IainPears.
I picked it up in 2017, but the early sections evoked #CSLewis a little too strongly for my liking.
Upon giving it another try, I can safely say that the book can only be describing using words which has been worn out from overuse. It is a masterpiece. Three separate worlds - past, future, and fantasy - are linked together in a delicate, heady way. This is a book that will strongly appeal to fans of #NinaAllan or #NickHarkaway.
