First "walking" test of a light rail car on the I-90 floating bridge. It _may_ be the first train on tracks across _any_ floating bridge, but that's just something I heard not something I know.

Traffic engineer predicts traffic volumes will increase, surprise surprise. They say it'll be a disaster if, after many years of being 3 lanes wide, the pike isn't widened to 4 lanes.
How many millions of dollars could we save on this project (which isn't fully funded yet) if we didn't have to build quite so much space for cars?

Big multicar crash at the entrance to the tunnel into Seattle. I-90 westbound is down to one lane. The other way across, highway 520, is closed this weekend. Go all the way around if you have to enter Seattle, or maybe just don't go in the first place. It's a hellscape right now.

Cross-country skiing out of Cabin Creek Sno-Park on Wednesday. Beautiful day, mostly sunny while west of the crest was shrouded in clouds.
