That sinking feeling when one of your oldest clients send you a cheerful email (just as you are talking the first sip of your morning coffee) to tell you she “asked ChatGPT for a fresh look for her logo” and tells how much she loves the (awful, derivative, and error ridden) amazing ideas it gave her because they look so “human”.

Following up on the previous post. I looked out the window to make sure the bird feeders survived the night (as you do) and saw a squirrel had made it past the anti-squirrel baffle and was chowing down.
Fuck it. I don’t want to play that anymore either. I give up.
We’re going to see Harry for a few minutes today. If it weren’t for that, I think I would be crashing into a major depression right now.

The only message the far left sends when it goes against Biden is that these socialist-populist extremists aren't worried about the fascist populists ending democracy.
At best, it forces Biden to throw the far left under the bus and pivot towards the sane center, which understands that fascism is bad.
Only a vote for Biden stops Trump. Only a vote for Biden enables future votes.

@helplessduck @footenotes Well it is not the INSTANCES but the INTERFACE/ platforms -- so Mastodon's own app vs Toot! vs MetaText vs web interface 🤦🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️
I already can't remember the nuances (because: swiss cheese brain) but I essentially gave up trying to figure it out.
And yes, SEARCHING still favors all-lowercase over camel case #IGiveUp
