Zapewne Waszą uwagę przykuł załączony do wpisu obrazek, promujący turniej #Hypersomnia, organizowany przez @FOSSGralnia (pod przewodnictwem @szkodnix) ze wsparciem @ftdl i Team @hypersomnia [1]. Nie jest to przypadek! #Ciekawostki, o których piszę, będą właśnie dotyczyć tego turnieju, a konkretnie materiałów, przygotowanych na ten cel.
Zacznijmy więc od tego, że poniższa grafika została przygotowana z użyciem fontu "Półtawski Nowy" - nie jest to przypadek. Dokładnie tym samym fontem został napisany także regulamin. Ale dlaczego?
Prawda jest taka, że to, że czcionka należy do rodziny szeryfowych [2], to tylko zbieg okoliczności. Pierwotnie nawet nie było planowane, aby dopasować styl wyżej wspomnianych materiałów do logotypu gry. To jest pierwsza ciekawostka.
Drugą ciekawostką, natomiast, jest fakt, że font "Półtawski Nowy" jest zdigitalizowaną odsłoną "Antykwy Półtawskiego" - pierwszego polskiego kroju pisma stworzonego od podstaw [3]. I tak jak wspomniałem wcześniej, nie jest to przypadek!
Użycie tej czcionki to mały easter egg dla osób, które widzą takie smaczki. Ma ona podkreślić, że wydarzenie jest organizowane w Polsce przez Polaków dla Polaków, a tylko przy okazji – świetnie komponować się z brandingiem gry Hypersomnia.
