  4. Je libo špekáček na vodíkovém hořáku? Ten plamen ve viditelném spektru skoro není vidět, v infračerveném to ukazovalo teploty kolem 400°C, ale to jenom kvůli mizerné emisivitě atmosféry. Vodík hoří při cca 1200°C, tak musíte klobásku držet vysoko nad plamenem.
    Kolegové potřebovali vyprázdnit vodíkovou nádrž, aby jim mohli demontovat, díky tomu ta opékačka :)

    Joby Aviation's hydrogen-powered air taxi completed a 523-mile test flight, a significant step towards zero-emission regional air travel.
    The aircraft, which uses a liquid hydrogen fuel cell and hydrogen-electric propulsion system, emitted only water vapor during the flight.
    The company plans to start commercial operations of its battery-electric air taxi in 2025.

    As fun as it is to talk about how solarpunk the various Studio Ghibli movies are, Ariel and I decided to stay truer to Season 5's theme of tech in this bonus chat. One of our listeners is interested in converting cars to run off of a mixture of ammonia and hydrogen, so we decided to take a look at the issue of using hydrogen as a fuel in general.

    It's a hot topic, one of those that we all have feelings about, without necessarily knowing much of the facts. Worse, at the moment, the hype over (and use of) hydrogen fuel constitutes little more than greenwashing - especially egregious, because it's becoming a policy issue raised as part of a
    net-zero energy solution in many countries.

    We do our best here to bring you the facts about what hydrogen fuel is, how hydrogen fuel is made, whether or not hydrogen could actually be a sustainable fuel, and what role hydrogen fuel would most sensibly play in our attempts to reach net zero greenhouse gas emissions ASAP.

  12. A liquid-hydrogen fuelling system for trucks that includes a “breakthrough” 100kg fuel tank has been unveiled by Chinese state-owned company China Aerospace and Technology Corporation (CASC).

    German automaker Daimler has previously road-tested a fully-loaded truck with 80kg of liquid hydrogen stored in onboard tanks, which travelled 1,047km without refuelling.

    "This paper is a report on an experimental re-examination of the data reported by #WestinghouseLaboratories on the work of Walter Russell. #NikolaTesla was so impressed with the theories and experiments of Walter Russell that he advised Russell to lock his knowledge in the Smithsonian for 1,000 years until mankind was ready.

    "Recent research has been conducted by the authors in order to verify Russell's theories and experiments. The experiments that Russell conducted in 1927, which were verified by Westinghouse laboratories have been repeated. Russell reported at that time that he had found a novel way to change to ratio of hydrogen to oxygen in a sealed quartz tube containing water vapor. The use of magnetic fields was shown to produce this effect. The end result of the experiments was to demonstrate a cheap and efficient method of hydrogen production for a hydrogen based fuel economy. Experiments performed to repeat these results have met with some success. This paper will present the theory and results of experiments performed in an attempt to duplicate these tests.
    Russell's work also involved the assembly of a device to produce energy from the background flux of fields designated by some researchers zero point energy.

    "Recent research has uncovered experiments that were conducted by Walter and #LaoRussell in conjunction with #Raytheon Corporation in Colorado Springs and General Chapman of #NORAD. The blue prints were discovered to still exist in Colorado Springs and the “#RussellOpticalDynamoGenerator” was found last fall in a basement, intact after 30 years.
