About 24 years ago, I met them for the first time and we worked together in various ways ever since; manufacturer-dealer, non formal business relationship, photography client, employee-employer and now as a subcontracter for photography and marketing services. It works great, both in the office in #Falkirk, on site covering their projects and here in the office in NL working on digital marketing!

Today was one of those days when I feel I didn't get anything done. All the tangible output at work was 4 (short) paragraphs. That's it.

I spent the rest of my day directing colleagues & delegating, discussing hour estimates, and generally wondering wtf, while being teams overloaded.

#Employers increasingly realise that #workingfromhome & #hybridworking are valued by potential applicants for jobs & this is now reflected in the frequency that such terms appear in job adverts.

Sarah O'Connor (FT) then draws an interesting conclusion: its those #professions where #WFH is not really feasible that seem to have become most militant about pay & conditions;

those #workers able to adopt hybrid working see it as an extra non-monetary benefit & so are less militant on #wages (?)

I am on-site a couple of days a week for various reasons...

Today I:

(i) saw this sign for a training being held, and checked out what it was

(ii) had an impromptu meeting with someone outside of but associated with a development I am part of - and we had an excellent discussion on needs, implications, expectations, end-use, and more...

These further reminded me I am coming to be very really appreciative of what a hybrid working locations solution in the workplace can bring...
