  15. #Hwy1 on the #BigSur coast remains closed between Deetjen’s Inn in Monterey County at PM 42.2 and Ragged Point in San Luis Obispo County. Dani Creek Slide at PM 22.6, Paul’s Slide at PM 21.7, & Gilbert’s Slide at PM 10.6 (all pictured here) are not traversable by vehicle traffic.

  21. Crews have been able to create a one-lane opening on #Hwy1 at PM 39.5 where a slide has covered the road south of Torre Canyon Bridge. Evacuation is now possible for residents south of the slide. Crews will return after expected rains this week to finish stabilizing the slope.

  22. UPDATE: #Hwy1 on the #BigSur coast is closed from just south of Deetjen's Big Sur Inn (PM 42) to Ragged Point (PM 72.9) as our crews continue to assess the conditions on the coast following this last rain event.
