hwinfo scans the system's hardware and creates a detailed report on found devices. Components like CPUs, RAM, graphics devices, storage media, as well as software components like framebuffers and partitions are searched and listed on the output. hwinfo can be made to look only for certain devices, and can perform thorough queries on found devices.
