@ai6yr having lived through week-long power outages multiple times, taking out 40k residences, businesses, traffic lights, and schools is a BIG DEAL. Here in #Tallahassee, we had advanced notice before #Hermine in 2016, but neither people nor the power companies were prepared. Recovery was smoother following #HurricaneMichael in 2018.

Anyone wanna buy a quick commission?
We got hit by hurricane Micheal and only got power back today. We had to toss everything in our fridge/freezer and, because I work from home, I lost out on about a $100 worth of work ;_;
