"All students living in UWF dorms had to evacuate by 6p.m. on Thursday. Just Wednesday, UWF students were notified they had 24 hours to get out of their residence halls.
"Like all the parking lots are basically empty so most students are gone," student Lamb Ngafeson.
Some students had less than 24 hours to figure out where to go.
"Just because of the quick turnaround, it felt very abrupt," Ngafeson said. "And so I think that kind of shook people up as well.""
