The #AllIreland #Hurling Final will be broadcast on BBC2 today, game starting at 15:30.

In an era of some sportspeople making insane money in some sports, this is an amateur game where people play for where they grew up.
Hurling is known as the fastest field sport, consisting of 15 v 15 on a pitch much bigger than a football (soccer) pitch, playing with hurls (camán) made of ash with a ball a bit smaller in size than a cricket ball (weighing in at about 110-120g).

If going to a GAA hurling game has been on your bucket list then you've a great chance next weekend 4/5th July. Two games in Croke Park, two semi finals so should be brilliant matches.
