@elaurian Every day is a new day, one we've never seen before, and we can make it a good day!
I hope you make your tomorrow a good one, and end your today with a smile.
There's a teaching: 10% in life is 💩 happens, 90% is how we choose to deal with it.

@RickiTarr nicely put!
I try to speak positively about myself and others. Still improving 😀
Criticism causes you to tense up. Enough tension lowers your mood and defences. Up to the point you can get physically sick.
The best counter: a quick compliment to neutralise the tension.
Your body makes no difference as to who was actually meant. Every criticism you utter is taken personally by your body. So, don't criticise yourself OR others! Formulate things positively.

#Gilching zeigt Farbe.
#Makia - energy flows where attention goes.
-
@kissane, very true. Always focus on what you want to happen, not what's stopping it from happening.
Energy flows where attention goes. What you focus on gets empowered. Don't protest against war/some-group/deforestation - go cheer for peace/ethical-values/respect-for-mother-earth.

@IPXFong I found a lot of help in the philosophy / worldview / whatever-it-means-to-you of #Huna as taught by Dr. Serge Kahili King. Also, many insights gained through practising (core) #shamanism helped me accept that change is always with us.
If we can't influence the fact that change happens, then we can influence how we react to it.
No drugs or mind altering substances, just drum journeys and meditation. Also, no religious conversion required either 😉

Stopp! Ich mag das nicht". Mehrmals täglich üben. Ein Trick aus dem #Huna . Viel Erfolg!

Sometimes, all you need is to want to change your point of view, to consciously seek the beauty around you. Then your world reforms around you.

All these protests and demonstrations against this and anti-that... while necessary, I feel they may have the wrong focus. Maybe more gatherings "for" something positive are needed, and fewer protests "against" something else.
I feel a blog post in the making once I've got my thoughts better lined up.
"Energy flows where attention goes" - #huna principle.

@dancinyogi here goes 😃
The mirror principle: if somebody annoys you, look to that part of you which resonates with the habit annoying you. Your annoyance is actually with yourself - the other person is merely showing you what you lack, don't dare do or what you dislike about yourself.
Work on changing that part of yourself, focus on the solution, not the problem, and that somebody will cease to drive you nuts.
